Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and identifying training opportunities to support team growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the direct leader in improving operating results through action plans
  • Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance
  • Communicate and model company values to foster teamwork
  • Monitor the competitive environment and make recommendations for maintaining competitiveness
  • Participate in the interviewing process and manage inventory procedures
  • Ensure store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and high-quality product displays
  • Supervise team operations and provide excellent customer service
  • Comply with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in retail management preferred
