Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with supervising day-to-day store activities, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and identifying training opportunities to support team growth.
Responsibilities
- Assist the direct leader in improving operating results through action plans
- Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for direct reports
- Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance
- Communicate and model company values to foster teamwork
- Monitor the competitive environment and make recommendations for maintaining competitiveness
- Participate in the interviewing process and manage inventory procedures
- Ensure store cleanliness, proper stock levels, and high-quality product displays
- Supervise team operations and provide excellent customer service
- Comply with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience in retail management preferred
