Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day store operations, develop action plans to improve performance, train and lead a team, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to enhance store performance.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Ensure adherence to company values and promote teamwork among employees.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and provide feedback on product offerings.
  • Participate in the hiring process and train new employees.
  • Manage inventory, product merchandising, and store cleanliness.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Effective leadership and performance evaluation abilities.
  • Experience in retail management is preferred.

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 3 years of retail experience, with prior management experience preferred.
