Assistant Retail Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at Aldi. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in managing store activities, optimizing performance, and fostering team development. This full-time position offers competitive pay starting at $24.50 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement action plans to enhance store operations.
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
• Identify training opportunities to improve team performance.
• Monitor the competitive landscape to make strategic recommendations.
• Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies are followed.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and address customer concerns.
• Maintain store cleanliness and merchandise products effectively.
• Operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of inventory management and budgeting principles.
• Prior management experience is preferred.
