Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Retail Supervisor to join our team at Aldi. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in managing store activities, supervising the team, and ensuring overall store performance. Your responsibilities will include developing operational action plans, identifying training opportunities, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 38 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $25.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement action plans to improve store performance.
- Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
- Identify training opportunities for team development.
- Ensure adherence to company strategy and core values.
- Monitor the competitive environment and provide product feedback.
- Participate in the store personnel interviewing process.
- Maintain inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
- Resolve operational customer concerns.
- Maintain store cleanliness and proper stock levels.
- Manage store payroll, inventory counts, and new employee training.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Meets requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience.
- Prior management experience preferred.
