Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join Kennie's Markets Inc as an Assistant Store Manager In Training. In this role, you will work closely with Store Management and Administrative Management to ensure the successful operation of the store, maintain high standards of customer service, and oversee various aspects of day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Attain operating goals, control payroll, expenses, inventory, and waste.
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
- Ensure quality and freshness standards are met.
- Implement store opening and closing procedures.
- Oversee security of cash, merchandise, equipment, and property.
- Comply with safety and HR standards.
- Recruit, select, and train employees.
- Supervise, coach, and counsel department managers.
- Implement training and development programs.
- Monitor performance evaluations and conduct disciplinary actions.
- Manage employee turnover and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Directly supervise department managers and employees.
- Carry out HR responsibilities in line with company policies and laws.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a retail or managerial role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and customer service best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
