As an Authorizations / Referrals Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely processing of referrals and authorizations, contributing to a seamless patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for services rendered.
• Obtain necessary referrals and authorizations from payers.
• Resolve patient and payer inquiries promptly and respectfully.
• Record all authorizations and verifications accurately to prevent scheduling issues.
• Alert management of any pending authorization issues that may affect scheduled procedures.
• Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in insurance, insurance verification, or customer service.
• Clean background check.

Compensation Details

Hourly Wage: $15-17
