Job Description
We are looking for a talented Capture Manager to join our team at Middle River Aerostructure Systems, a leading manufacturer of aerospace components located near Baltimore, MD. As the Capture Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing capture-related activities within the aerospace and defense industry. Your role will involve developing and implementing capture strategies to secure new contracts, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Identify and manage strategic capture campaigns aligned with business objectives.
- Lead business development activities to secure new contracts.
- Develop capture strategies and participate in bid and proposal activities.
- Lead cross-functional teams through the capture process and ensure adherence to budget and schedule commitments.
- Collaborate with internal and corporate stakeholders to achieve capture objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business Management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development or Capture Management.
- Knowledge of commercial and US government contracts.
- Ability to travel as required.
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain USG Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in STEM or Business Administration.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in Aerostructures or structural components of Airframes and Space Systems.
- Proven track record in leading captures and business development programs.
- Familiarity with DoD customers and aerospace industry networks.
