Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Capture Manager to join our team at Middle River Aerostructure Systems. As a Capture Manager, you will be responsible for leading capture-related activities in the aerospace and defense sectors. Your duties will involve strategic campaign identification, team leadership, and business development to secure new contracts. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, manage the capture process, and ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic capture campaigns in line with business objectives.
- Develop capture strategies and business solutions for pursuing opportunities.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams through capture processes.
- Act as the primary customer contact for proposal activities.
- Collect business intelligence relevant to capture projects.
- Develop and communicate compelling solutions in proposal responses.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business Management with 5 years of experience in Business Development or Capture Management.
- Knowledge of commercial and government contracts and acquisition processes.
- Ability to obtain USG Security Clearance and travel as needed.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in STEM or Business Administration/Management.
- Experience in Aerostructures or structural components of Airframes and Space Systems.
- Proven track record in leading captures and business development programs.
- Strong network within the aerospace industry.
