Job Description

We are looking for compassionate individuals to join our team at Sevita as Direct Support Professionals/Caregivers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your responsibilities will include providing transportation, assisting with daily living skills, supporting developmental goals, and ensuring the well-being of those under your care.

Responsibilities

• Transport and support individuals in the community for outings, medical appointments, and shopping.
• Assist with meal preparation and medication administration.
• Guide individuals in various developmental goals such as community participation, budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Help with personal hygiene, grooming, and behavioral redirection when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5 years of caregiving experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age with access to a registered vehicle and insurance.
• Successful background clearance and a compassionate, responsible attitude.
