Case Manager, Family Development-Doula

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Case Manager, Family Development-Doula to join our team at the Employment Opportunity & Training Center of NE PA. As a member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing home-based education and support services to families, focusing on areas such as Parent-Child Interaction, Family/Child Well-being, and postpartum support for mothers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits to families, offering support and guidance in various developmental areas.
• Maintain detailed records and complete program-related data entry.
• Participate in team meetings, reflective supervision, and home visit observations to ensure program quality.
• Plan and engage in activities with children and parents to promote growth in various skills.
• Collaborate with community partners and agencies to connect families with necessary resources.
• Represent the agency professionally at public events.
• Ensure program fidelity and best practices are followed in serving participating families.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study.
• Knowledge of motivational interviewing and protective factors.
• Doula certification preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Physical Demands

The role may require standing, walking, sitting on the floor, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
