Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Cashier to join our team at Thurmont Store in Thurmont, Maryland. As part of the Goodwill Monocacy Valley store team, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service, promoting sales, and fostering a positive brand experience. Your responsibilities will include operating registers, maintaining sales floor standards, and contributing to a clean and safe environment for our customers.
Starting Pay
$15.00 / Hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform Point of Sale (POS) tasks and process payments.
- Solicit cash donations from customers at POS.
- Identify prices of merchandise and maintain sales floor standards.
- Greet and assist customers, maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Stock merchandise in designated areas.
- Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
- Uphold Goodwill Core Values: Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Math skills are a plus.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Ability to pass background and drug screenings if required.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
