Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Cashier/Stocker to join our team at ALDI. As a Cashier, you will process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to store inventory management. As a Stocker, you will ensure our shelves are stocked, merchandise is displayed attractively, and inventories are organized. This position offers a dynamic work environment where you will interact with customers and collaborate with team members.
Position Details
- Position Type: Part-Time
- Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour
Responsibilities
As a Cashier:
- Process customer purchases and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to cash policies to minimize losses.
- Assist in inventory management and participate in store inventory counts.
As a Stocker:
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and create visually appealing displays.
- Operate machinery safely and follow merchandising guidelines.
- Organize inventory and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to provide courteous customer service and work independently or in a team.
- Effective time management and knowledge of retail products.
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
