Cashier/Stocker (Part Time)

Job Description

We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team at ALDI as Cashiers and Stockers. As part of our collaborative work environment, you will be responsible for operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store appearance, and providing excellent customer service. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth and development.

Position Details

• Position Type: Part-Time
• Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to direct leaders.
• Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data.
• Cashiers: Process customer purchases, provide exceptional service, and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Stockers: Maintain product freshness, create merchandised displays, and operate machinery safely.
• Meet physical demands of the job, including stocking merchandise up to 45 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Cashiers: Efficiently operate a cash register.
• Stockers: Safely operate equipment like electric/manual hand jacks.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is an advantage.
