CDL-A Hazmat and Doubles Truck Driver

Job Description

We are looking for a CDL-A Hazmat and Doubles Truck Driver to join our team at ArcBest II ABF Freight. As a City Driver, you will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of cargo to and from various destinations, maintaining strong customer relationships, and utilizing up-to-date technology to perform your duties efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of cargo within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Loading and unloading of trailers using industry-standard techniques and procedures.
• Adherence to terminal-specific duties and schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience required; training may be available for candidates with less experience.
• Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
• Strong work ethic, stable work record, and safe driving history.
• Successful completion of DOT pre-employment drug screening and medical requirements.
