Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join the MUSC Community Physicians team in Columbia, SC. As a Medical Assistant, you will work under the supervision of the Outpatient Clinic Manager, performing vital sign measurements, patient interviews, medical record maintenance, and preparation of treatment rooms. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions accurately are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• One year of patient care experience is preferred.
• Certification through recognized organizations such as AMT, AAMA, NHA, NCCT, or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification (AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or equivalent).
