Certified Nurse Assistant - Evening Shifts

Channing House, a leading not-for-profit Life Care Community in Palo Alto, is seeking Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) for Evening Shifts. CNAs are responsible for providing basic patient care under the direction of the Charge Nurse/LN Supervisor to promote and maintain residents' well-being and quality of life. Join our team and contribute to creating a healthy and vibrant home for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Familiarity with residents' care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Document care provided accurately.
• Apply restorative nursing measures for independence.
• Provide mealtime assistance and nourishments.
• Engage with residents during care provision.
• Obtain vital signs and weights accurately.
• Participate in group outings and activities.
• Practice safety and infection control measures.
• Maintain resident's personal property and privacy.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of related work experience in elderly care.
• Completion of 160-hour Nurse Assistance Training Program.
• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in California.
