Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Charge Nurse II (RN) to join our Skilled Hospital's Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital, located in Baltimore, MD. As a full-time staff nurse on the day shift, you will play a crucial role in providing safe and age-appropriate patient care, while also serving as a leader and resource for the patient care team.
Summary
The Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital is focused on patient care and process improvement. Patients are admitted with medical and psychological diagnoses and stay for 20-25 days, allowing clinical staff to build relationships and offer medication management and rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and age-appropriate patient care.
- Function as a leader and advisor to the patient care team.
- Consistently meet requirements and expectations for RN II on the clinical ladder.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing.
- 2+ years of clinical expertise.
- Certification in a specialty area within 3-5 years of hire.
- Maryland RN License and BLS certification.
