Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Charge Nurse II (RN) to join our Skilled Hospital's Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital, located in Baltimore, MD. In this full-time position, you will be working day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm as a staff nurse in the Brain Health Unit. As a vital part of the team, you will provide safe and age-appropriate patient care, serve as a mentor and leader for the patient care team, and ensure the delivery of exceptional medical services.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care and act as a leader for the care team.
- Meet the requirements and expectations for an RN II on the clinical ladder consistently.
- Participate in patient treatment plans and ensure adherence to protocols.
- Maintain professionalism, patience, and trust with patients and healthcare team members.
Requirements
- Equivalent to an Associate's degree with specialized knowledge in nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the clinical field.
- Specialty nursing certification within 3-5 years of hire.
- Maryland Registered Nurse License and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
