Job Description

We are hiring a Charge Nurse - Pediatrics to join our team at Denver Health. As the Charge Nurse, you will supervise nursing and support staff in an inpatient unit, ensuring high-quality patient care. This role involves operations management, patient assessment, treatment, and evaluation, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department/unit for assigned shift, providing guidance to nursing staff.
• Assess patient needs and coordinate with the healthcare team for optimal care.
• Administer medication, monitor symptoms, and record patient vital signs.
• Ensure compliance with professional nursing standards and guidelines.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• 1-3 years of professional nursing experience in a patient care setting.
• RN license from DORA required.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and basic Office Suite skills preferred.
