Clinical Development Lead, Solid Tumor Oncology, BTC & GEA

Job Description

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Clinical Development Lead specializing in Solid Tumor Oncology, particularly in BTC and GEA. As the key figure in advancing the late-stage development and life-cycle management of a vital Oncology asset, the Clinical Development Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategy, oversee clinical trials, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage resources efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for clinical development in Oncology focusing on BTC and GEA.
• Develop and execute global clinical development plans, study designs, and regulatory strategies.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless program execution.
• Oversee clinical trial progress, data quality, and patient safety.
• Analyze trial data, interpret results, and manage risks effectively.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to enhance scientific exchange.
• Manage budget allocation and optimize resources.
• Foster a high-performance culture within the clinical development team.

Requirements

• Experience in leading Solid Tumor Oncology asset development successfully.
• Demonstrated ability to lead high performing clinical development teams.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging executive audiences.
• MD required, board certification in Oncology preferred.
• Postgraduate degree e.g., PhD preferred.
• Experience in solid tumor oncology, preferably BTC or Gastrointestinal cancers.
