Aerotech is seeking a skilled CNC Programming Machinist to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art facility in RIDC Park, O’Hara Township. As a CNC Programming Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our Precision Automation and Robotics evolution by programming, setting up, and operating Mazak CNC machines to produce precision parts.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate Mazak CNC machines in a precision machine shop environment.
- Produce newly designed parts, select workholding fixtures, and ensure tight dimensional tolerances.
- Inspect parts using precision measurement tools and conduct first part inspections.
- Program, edit, and set up pallet changers, robot arms, and other automated equipment for batch production.
Requirements
- Experience with programming Mazak CNC machines in Mazatrol.
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T experience.
- Knowledge of precision part measurement tools and inspection methods.
- Effective communication skills and familiarity with general software.
- Minimum one-year certificate in Machine Shop Technology or equivalent experience.
