CNM-Certified Nurse Midwife

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team at South Denver OBGYN and Midwives within OnPoint Medical Group. As part of our physician-led network, you will play a crucial role in providing full-scope midwifery care and ensuring the health and wellness of our members and their families. This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on pregnancy, birth, postpartum care, family planning, and women's primary health.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent management of women's health care, focusing on pregnancy, birth, postpartum, family planning, and primary care.
• Manage hospital labor assessment, admission, normal and abnormal labor, postpartum care, and discharge.
• Perform vaginal birth, laceration repair, ultrasounds, C-section first surgical assist, and contraceptive procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records according to standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nurse-Midwifery or Midwifery.
• Current CNM certification, RN License for Colorado, ARNP license with prescriptive authority, BLS, NRP, and DEA registration.
• Experience in full-scope midwifery, OB ultrasound, patient counseling, and collaboration.
