Community Bank President/Ag Lender

Job Description

Bank Iowa Corporation is looking for a Community Bank President/Ag Lender to join our team in Newton. In this role, you will lead a team of Relationship Managers and Loan Assistants, generate quality Ag and Commercial loans, represent the bank in the community, and actively participate in community activities to drive visibility and growth.

Responsibilities

• Champion the bank's values, culture, and strategic direction.
• Lead business development efforts to achieve loan and deposit growth goals.
• Manage an agriculture and commercial loan portfolio and build strong client relationships.
• Be actively involved in civic and community activities to establish the bank as a center of influence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of lending and banking experience as an Ag & Commercial Loan Officer.
• Strong agriculture background preferred.
• Supervisory and management experience.
