Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Construction Cost Project Analyst to join our National Real Estate Services team at Aldi. As we strive to become one of the top U.S. grocery retailers, your role will involve managing construction costs on a national level and collaborating with divisional real estate teams to assess construction bids. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in construction documents with education in construction, architecture, or engineering. Your primary objective will be to ensure that construction expenses align with project scopes and regional cost trends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Construction Managers on negotiating with contractors.
• Work with divisional leaders to determine appropriate scopes requiring clarification or revised pricing.
• Provide divisions with up-to-date pricing data for consistency.
• Prepare detailed bid analysis reports for project awarding.
• Track pricing data and provide quarterly reports to the National Real Estate Project Manager.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in construction documents and proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Estimating.
• Strong ability to interpret construction documents and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and RS Means software.
