Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Construction Cost Project Analyst to join ALDI's National Real Estate Services team in Dublin, OH. In this role, you will oversee construction cost management on a national level, collaborating with divisional real estate teams to evaluate construction bids. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction documents and possess an educational background in construction, architecture, or engineering. Your primary objective will be to ensure that construction costs align with project scope and regional cost trends.

Responsibilities

• Work with Construction Managers to develop negotiation points with contractors.
• Collaborate with divisional teams to determine appropriate scopes and pricing structures.
• Provide pricing data and detailed bid analysis to aid in selecting qualified bidders.
• Prepare regular reports on pricing data and advise on efficiency improvements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and research alternative construction practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in construction estimating.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to interpret construction documents and utilize construction cost indices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
