We are looking for a Cook to join Charter Senior Living of Bay City on a part-time basis. As part of our dedicated team, you will play a crucial role in preparing and presenting high-quality meals while ensuring the smooth operation of the Dining Services Department. Responsibilities

• Discuss and resolve any food service issues promptly with team members and leaders.
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner following designated guidelines.
• Adhere to health, safety, and infection control practices.
• Clean work areas and equipment, store food properly, and maintain a presentable kitchen.
• Handle resident concerns professionally and with care.

Requirements

• Must be Serv-safe Certified or willing to obtain certification.
• Experience working with the elderly is preferred.
• Proficiency in English and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Pass a background check.
