Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Counter Sales at Harbor Rental And Saw Shop. In this role, you will be the face of the company, providing exceptional service to customers and assisting them with product selection for their projects.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer inquiries and help them choose the right products.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to meet their needs efficiently.
• Provide tailored solutions to potential clients based on their requirements.
• Upsell additional products to enhance customer purchases.
• Process orders, schedule deliveries, and manage payments and returns.
• Maintain showroom appearance and stock shelves with merchandise.
• Assist with inventories and ensure system accuracy.
• Handle customer challenges professionally.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products, blueprint reading, and construction methods.

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math skills and ability to compute various calculations.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in building materials is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move around to assist customers and lift objects up to 25 lbs.
• Use hands and fingers for product handling and operation.
• Comfortable with standing, walking, sitting, and occasional climbing of stairs.

Compensation

Hourly Wage Range: $16.28 - $21.5
