Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis in the afternoon shift. As a CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic CT exams while ensuring the best possible imaging quality and following radiation protection principles. Your role will involve patient care, equipment operation, communication with medical staff, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identification and physician orders.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients.
- Perform CT exams and related procedures, ensuring patient safety.
- Operate CT imaging equipment and conduct quality control tests.
- Communicate effectively with the medical team and support staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by ARRT with additional CT certification required within 1 year.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
