Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to apply cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging techniques to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role involves performing CT procedures, processing images, and ensuring proper patient care throughout the process. As a CT Technologist, you will also act as a role model for comprehensive care and support other radiology staff in managing complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Verify patients' clinical history and ensure accurate documentation.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining instructions and minimizing anxiety.
- Operate CT equipment, select technical factors, and position patients for optimal imaging.
- Administer contrast media and evaluate images for quality.
- Schedule patient procedures, maintain a clean work environment, and report equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Certifications in CT, Nuc Med, or Radiography required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days.
