Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated CT Technologist to join Corewell Health's team on a full-time basis. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to aid in diagnosis or treatment. The role involves preparing patients for scans, operating imaging equipment, administering contrast media, evaluating images, and scheduling procedures. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional patient care skills, and the ability to work under supervision while ensuring equipment accountability.
Responsibilities
- Verify patients' clinical history and prepare them for procedures.
- Select and operate imaging equipment, positioning patients for optimal results.
- Administer contrast media and evaluate images for quality.
- Schedule patients for scans and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Certifications in CT, Radiography, or Nuclear Medicine required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
Location & Schedule
- Primary Location: West Pavilion, Wyoming.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Shift: Day, with variable days worked and every third weekend.
- Weekly Hours: 36, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
