Job Summary
We are seeking a CT Technologist to join our healthcare team at Corewell Health. In this role, you will perform cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures, ensuring the accurate and timely diagnosis or treatment of patients. You will be responsible for preparing patients, operating equipment, and producing high-quality images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
Responsibilities
- Verify patients' clinical history and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide necessary instructions.
- Select appropriate technical factors, operate equipment, and position patients effectively.
- Administer contrast media and evaluate images for quality assurance.
- Maintain a clean work environment and communicate equipment issues.
Qualifications
- Required: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree.
- Certifications in CT, Nuc Med, Radiography, and BLS required upon hire.
Physical Demands
Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, pushing, and standing as needed for the role.
