We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. In this role, you will collaborate closely with licensed practitioners, ensuring accurate and timely imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify patients' clinical history and prepare them for procedures.
- Operate CT equipment, position patients for optimal imaging results, and administer contrast media as needed.
- Evaluate images for quality, ensuring accurate patient identification and record-keeping.
- Maintain a clean work environment and communicate equipment issues.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Certification in Computerized Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine, or Radiography.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Physical Demands
Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, pushing, and occasional sitting, standing, and walking activities.
