Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated CT Technologist to join Corewell Health as part of our dynamic team. This full-time position on the midnight shift offers a $7,000 sign-on bonus and a $1,000 referral bonus. As a CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic CT exams, ensuring the highest quality images while adhering to radiation protection principles and maintaining a patient-centered care approach.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identity and physician orders.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Perform CT scans, including the administration of contrast media when necessary.
- Operate CT imaging equipment proficiently and ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment.
- Utilize hospital computer systems accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in effective communication within the department and with other medical staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by ARRT with additional CT certification required within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
