Corewell Health is currently seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team on a full-time basis during the night shift. As a CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic CT exams, ensuring the highest quality images while prioritizing patient care and safety. General Summary
Under general supervision, the CT Technologist will conduct CT exams using advanced imaging equipment. This role emphasizes clinical skills, radiation protection, and adhering to our Patient and Family Centered Care approach.
Essential Duties
- Verify patient identification and physician orders.
- Provide patient education and obtain accurate medical histories.
- Perform CT procedures and operate imaging equipment proficiently.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures and maintain a clean exam environment.
- Utilize hospital systems for order verification and communication.
Standard Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must have completed a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program, hold ARRT certification, and maintain BLS certification. Clinical experience is preferred.
Working Conditions
This position involves physical effort and exposure to ionizing radiation. Candidates must adhere to safety protocols and maintain a high standard of infection control.
