Job Description
We are looking for a highly-skilled CT Technologist Lead to join our team at Corewell Health. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition and processing of CT exams, coordinating technical and support personnel, and ensuring departmental standards are met. Your leadership will optimize quality, efficiency, and patient care, adhering to Corewell's Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy.
Responsibilities
- Lead and monitor daily work schedules of staff to ensure safe patient flow and optimal image acquisition.
- Assist in achieving site and system objectives, maintaining accreditations, and adhering to regulations.
- Provide leadership, conflict resolution, and effective communication with medical staff and colleagues.
- Train new staff, conduct annual competencies, and assist in evaluations.
- Ensure equipment and exam rooms are clean, stocked, and follow safety protocols.
- Use ALARA Standards for minimal radiation exposure and provide procedural information to patients.
- Perform radiographic patient care procedures and utilize hospital computer systems efficiently.
Requirements
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by ARRT with additional CT modality preferred.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
