Job Description

Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and passionate Strengthening Families Coordinator for our Community Umbrella Agency program. This role will involve collaborating with various teams to support children, youth, and families within the community through evidence-based practices. The Coordinator will facilitate workshops, engage families in positive changes, and build strong relationships with service providers and community organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish positive relationships among Child Welfare providers and community service organizations.
• Participate in achieving safety, permanency, and well-being goals for children and families.
• Facilitate Parent Cafés, workshops, and support groups.
• Engage families and the community in agency events.
• Conduct outreach, workshops, and community mapping strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of social services, child welfare, and family systems.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with community resources.
