Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your exceptional customer service skills will enhance the shopping experience for all our customers as you collaborate with the ALDI team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly arrange shelves and merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with the team and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe operation of equipment such as hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
- Understanding and application of company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Compliance with state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience preferred.
- A mix of education and experience equivalent to the job demands.
