Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and overall store operations
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to company cash policies and procedures
- Comply with all company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe and proper operation of store equipment
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
