Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. Your primary responsibilities will include customer assistance, merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
  • Process customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Conduct inventory counts and report feedback to management
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures

Qualifications

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
  • Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
  • Capability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a retail setting preferred
  • Combination of education and relevant experience considered
