Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join ALDI as a Store Associate. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining product displays, assisting customers, cashiering, and ensuring the store is clean and organized to provide an exceptional shopping experience.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Conduct inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow all company policies and maintain confidentiality of information.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to deliver courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe use of equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
- Compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience is acceptable.
