Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a vital part of our store, your responsibilities include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI key competencies and professional skills
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies and uphold company procedures
- Adhere to company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prompt and courteous customer service skills
- Efficient cash register operation
- Safe equipment handling and maintenance
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
- Meet state and local requirements for beverage sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Retail experience is a plus
- Equivalent education and experience will be considered
