Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the store is well-merchandised, assisting customers, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. You will play a vital part in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to company cash policies and procedures
- Follow company policies and ensure confidentiality of documents and data
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register
- Proper handling and operation of equipment
- Interpretation and application of company policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
