Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service, merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
  • Follow company procedures and maintain security and confidentiality
  • Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Prompt and courteous customer service skills
  • Efficient operation of a cash register and other equipment
  • Ability to interpret and apply company policies
  • Strong communication skills
  • Work well independently and in a team

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail experience is a plus
