Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the store maintains a clean and welcoming environment.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's core values and competencies in daily tasks.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on product quality, inventory, and any issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in stock levels.
- Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses and maintain security protocols.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
- Ability to provide courteous and efficient customer service.
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and store equipment.
- Experience in retail operations is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Demonstrated organizational abilities, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills.
- Meet legal requirements for alcohol handling and sales.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
