Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional service, merchandising, and stocking product. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to ensure the store maintains an inviting atmosphere.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
  • Follow cash policies and procedures
  • Adhere to company policies while maintaining data security and confidentiality

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
  • Operate a cash register efficiently
  • Safely operate equipment such as hand jacks and floor scrubbers
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
