Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and potential issues to enhance store operations.
  • Participate in inventory management and ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies.
  • Follow company policies and maintain data security and confidentiality.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
  • Capable of performing general cleaning duties to company standards.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
  • Meet any state and local requirements for alcohol-related responsibilities.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail experience is advantageous.
