Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and potential issues to enhance store operations.
- Participate in inventory management and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures to minimize discrepancies.
- Follow company policies and maintain data security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capable of performing general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
- Meet any state and local requirements for alcohol-related responsibilities.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
