Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is visually appealing and clean. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, collaborating with team members, managing inventory, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues.
- Contribute to store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Follow cash handling policies and procedures.
- Comply with company policies and uphold document security.
- Handle other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safe and proper equipment handling.
- Knowledge of retail cleaning standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Capacity to work independently and in a team setting.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience equivalent.
