Dairy and Frozen Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Dairy and Frozen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Dairy and Frozen Department at Kennie's Market's Inc. The ideal candidate will manage product levels, ensure top-quality products, deliver excellent customer service, and drive profits for the department.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales and gross profit goals for the department.
• Maintain control over supply, payroll expenses, inventory, and waste.
• Ensure correct accounting procedures and oversee product pricing.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, rotation, and temperature maintenance.
• Supervise stocking, display, and rotation of Dairy/Frozen products.
• Collaborate with store management on merchandising, planning, and sales trends.
• Maintain a sanitary department and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and adhere to safety standards.
• Participate in inter-department or store-wide sales promotions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of related experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Strong mathematical and reasoning skills.
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly supervise 5-10 employees in the Dairy and Frozen Department.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities according to company policies and laws.
• Conduct employee interviews, training, performance appraisals, and manage conflict resolution.
