Job Description
The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is a critical role responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. This 24x7x365 position requires a solid understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, PC troubleshooting, and management applications. The ideal candidate will represent Flexential professionally and technically while ensuring timely issue resolution and compliance with data center policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
- Maintain professionalism during data center duties.
- Troubleshoot and document technical issues using the ticketing system.
- Assist in installations and maintain the cleanliness of the Data Center.
- Support 24/7 operations and perform necessary hands-on tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
- Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Relevant IT Support experience preferred.
- Industry certifications like Network+, Security+, CCNA, MCP, or MCSA a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at heights and in cold environments.
- Capability to handle heavy objects and install cabling.
Hourly Pay Range
The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $20.30 - $23.81, subject to candidates' experience and qualifications.
