Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality dental care in accordance with national guidelines to all Heritage Health patients.
  • Examine and treat patients of all ages, ensuring proper dental care, disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Lead and support the dental clinic staff, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Completion of an ADA accredited dental program (DDS or DMD).
  • Active Idaho dental license and BLS certification.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with underserved populations desired.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Deliver high-quality dental treatment to improve patient well-being.
  • Ensure all dental services meet regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards.
  • Build positive relationships with patients, staff, and external partners.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule dental care visits, diagnose and treat patients, administer anesthetics and medications.
  • Chart conditions, develop treatment plans, provide oral health education, and participate in community dental programs.
  • Manage equipment and supplies efficiently, participate in staff meetings and training, and maintain patient confidentiality.
